GoodData

Humanizing Business Intelligence

When GoodData called andCulture about a website redesign, we were excited. Here was a company looking to dramatically change a moribund $10 billion software industry by taking business intelligence into the cloud and making it accessible to normal human beings. GoodData perfectly aligned with our “startups and upstarts” vision.

After spending some time with the leadership team at GoodData, we embarked on our challenge: build a brand and highly functional website to complement GoodData’s web-based products. This meant turning a logo, some partner videos and a lot of great input into a visually appealing, well-architected site that showed prospects how to get “BI without the BS.” We succeeded in creating a website that speaks to both technical and non-technical users, carries the GoodData brand forward with extensible elements and shows how the company enables businesses to make smarter decisions, managing by the metrics.

What We Did

  • Meticulously researched and mapped GoodData’s DNA, to arrive at a strategy that is authentic to the company and attractive to customers and partners.
  • Architected content to draw in both business users and IT specialists, then ease them down different paths, each with tailored messaging.
  • Developed a handful of illustrated business vignettes starring an enlightened IT guy who solves his BI challenges using GoodData.
  • Designed an interactive technology schematic representing GoodData’s stack, an elegant rendering that makes the intangible a little easier to grasp.
