Adaptive Path
A high-profile design collaboration
Adaptive Path, a known entity in many circles, needed to appeal to a broader base. Practitioners worldwide revered them as teachers and consultants in the field of user experience (UX) design, flocking to their conferences and engaging with them online. But prospective customers, relying primarily on their dated website, could not grasp exactly what they did.
Internally, they were eager to reinvent their online presence with their newly refreshed brand and clear communication around their offerings. It wasn't easy for Adaptive Path to outsource any part of this redesign process, but they felt a connection with andCulture and took the leap.
We anticipated that collaborating with them on this project would be the ultimate test—and learning experience—and we were up to the challenge. The content organization and distillation process was the single biggest hurdle. Teaching, sharing and fostering the growth of UX is Adaptive Path’s core tenet, so to say their content creation is prolific is a grand understatement. In the end, we launched a clean, modern site with a strong point of view and visual cues to help showcase their successes.
What We Did
- For the centerpiece of the home page, we created a highly visual collage-style rotator, each slide an amalgamation of sketches, notes, team photos and blog posts related to an engagement or opinion piece.
- At Adaptive Path, individuals are encouraged to write, speak and otherwise advocate for UX excellence, so we created dynamic bio templates to colorfully display each person’s team and personal contributions to the field.
- Categorized and migrated more than 1,700 blog posts from multiple sources spanning more than a decade into the new site.
